Bedugul
Bedugul is one of Bali
most popular recreation center, located in highland of Bali
with fresh and cool mountain air, about 60 kms from Denpasar
to the North.
There are 3 destinations in this area:
- Ulun Danu temple and “Beratan”
Lake.
Ulun danu temple is located on the shore of ‘Beratan”
lake. This temple is dedicated to worship “Dwi Danu”
– Goddess of Lake for prosperity. Beratan Lake is one
of the three main lakes in Bali, here you can enjoy a boat
ride around the lake and other water sport activities.
- Candi kuning – Fresh Fruit and
Flower market
Here you can get Bali fresh fruit and flower. As tourism growth
nowadays, there are also handicrafts shops on this market.
- Bedugul Botanical Garden
See collections of hundreds species of plans. This Botanical
garden also has collections of plans which use for traditional
medicine, healing and treatment. And also they have an Etnobotany
Museum.
